Synergy Attacks are special attacks performed when a certain fighter pick ups a certain assist character from a summon cube. This is a feature added in Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL.
Description[]
Synergy attacks are where a fighter and an assist character team up for a special attack. Some of them have the player take direct control over what happens, others trigger one big attack, and some have the assist character do something different from their usual function while the player continues to use their own character.

| Chowder and Kimchi | Madame Foster | Chowder eats Madame Foster's cookies making him huge.After this he becomes a big round like a bowling ball and he rolls around with Madame Foster on the top rolling him. |
| Numbuh One | Major Glory | Both Numbuh One and Major Glory fly around, with Numbuh One firing projectiles and Major Glory propelling towards the enemies in short spurts. Numbuh One acts the same way as he does in his super attack, but does not leave stun clouds behind. |

| Flapjack | Dee Dee | Flapjack and Dee Dee dance together, doing damage to those that get too close to them. |
| Captain K'nuckles | Stickybeard | Stickybeard equips K'nuckles with cannons, firing them at his opponents. |
| Grim | Mung Daal | Grim combines his undead powers with Mung's soup. |

| Mac and Bloo | Peppermint Larry and Candy Wife | Perppermint Larry feeds Mac and Bloo candy, which causes Mac to go crazy. This increases the player's speed, gives them a new (albeit limited) set of attacks, and makes them invincible. |

| Scotsman | Numbuh Two | Numbuh 2 flies with Scotsman on the wing, shooting his enemies. |
