Numbuh One, A.K.A. Nigel Uno, is the leader of the Kids Next Door Sector V, keeper of the Book of KND and current Earth representative to the elite Galactic KND.

Overview[]

In Punch Time Explosion, Numbuh One is the 6th playable character to be unlocked, while in the XL version he is a starter. His in-game bio states that Numbuh One is outstanding in the air, thanks to his rocket boots.

In the story mode, he was under Vilgax's control when he first appeared in the game and fought Flapjack and K'nuckles in Stormalong Harbor alongside Vilgax. When Flapjack and K'nuckles beat Vilgax, he escapes and leaves Numbuh One behind who was knocked out of his control. Numbuh One then joins forces with Flapjack and K'nuckles since he's convinced they aren't candy pirates and fights Stickybeard by their side. When they are transported to the Kids Next Door Treehouse, Numbuh One must guide his new friends to the top of the Treehouse. They then battle more Candy Pirates, defeat the Toiletnator and fend off Stickybeard's ship from attacking the C.O.O.L.B.U.S. Numbuh One joins the team when they go to Dexter's Lab.

Bio Stats[]

  • Speed: 3/5
  • Power: 3/5
  • Air: 5/5
  • Range: 2/5

Explanation[]

These stats are provided in the game in character bios. They do not affect gameplay at all and can sometimes be misleading or need an explanation.

  • Some of Numbuh One's attacks are of average speed, with his weaker moves being faster than his stronger moves.
  • Numbuh One's attacks deal below average damage and have underwhelming knockback power. 2/5 would be a better reflection of power.
  • Numbuh One has multiple jumps reaching far heights and has outstanding aerial mobility. However his aerial attacks are somewhat weak and are of average speed.
  • Numbuh One is primarily a melee focused character, but he comes equipped with two great projectile attacks that have great utility in combat.

Signature Attacks[]

Neutral: G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A. (Gumball Utilizing Mechanism Zings Overubundance Of Kandy Around)

  • Numbuh One brings out this weapon and fires three seperate shots of gum in front of him. Each shot deals 3% damage.

Punch Time Explosion: Double S.P.I.C.E.R. Blast[]

Numbuh One pulls out two pepper sauce spray guns and activates his rocket boots. He flies around the screen and fires spice clouds. If an enemy touches these clouds, they get trapped and take constant damage. He then shoots his S.C.A.M.P.P.*s which ignites the spice clouds and causes massive explosions. The explosions deal 29% and creates 4 power cubes.

  • Setting up two sprays above an opponent, and attacking the opponent with the third spray will cause the opponent to launch up high into the air. Depending on the ##% of the opponent, it has potential to insta-kill.
  • It is currently unknown how, but computer players have demonstrated the ability to ignore this move entirely and use normal moves, switching between normal and PTE mode. The currently known human way to do this is to cancel the PTE with an in-stage object like the bed in Foster's 3.

Synergy: Major Glory[]

Numbuh One flies around the screen firing his G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A., similar to his PTE. Major Glory then flies over to the location that Numbuh One fired at and punches it, which would surely damage opponents in the area.
